The time frame for RVSM approval varies depending on the FAA's workload and the responsiveness of everyone involved. If possible, we recommend starting the approval process 60 days prior to aircraft acceptance, as this is the time frame the FAA has allocated to review RVSM applications. Coordination between the operator's designated RVSM Representative and the FAA is required. However, we provide expert support throughout the approval process as necessary.
Two copies of each manual are provided, one copy to submit to the FAA for review and another copy to store the LOA and keep onboard the aircraft. Electronic copies of the documents are also available upon request.
