FAA LOA A153 DECOMMISSIONED

The ADSB OUT LOA has been decommissioned by the FAA. This became effective November 09, 2018. The FAA will slowly start cancelling operator’s A153 LOAs. ADSB OUT in the United States (equipage mandate)

In most controlled airspace within the United States, the FAA requires aircraft to be equipped with functioning ADS-B Out equipment. The rule has been in effect since January 1, 2020, under 14 CFR §91.225.
