FAA-Accepted Procedures for Upcoming LOA Streamlining
In July 2021, Jet RVSM received FAA acceptance for our international Operations Manual in the form of a Procedures Statement of Compliance, or "PSOC". Now that the FAA has implemented their LOA streamlining process, FSDO inspectors and regional navigation specialists do not have to review Jet RVSM's procedures manual. The office can accept a PSOC as evidence that the manual used by the operator contains the necessary content for authorizing applicable LOAs (RVSM, NAT HLA, RNP-10/4/2, CPDLC). This should reduce FAA review time significantly.
This process only applies to newly manufactured aircraft for now, and must be submitted either 60 days before or after a new delivery.
